City bought the league then? Maybe so – but United must now spend money on players who will make them challenge again next season.
City will no doubt strengthen. God knows where (maybe at centre back and centre mid?). United can no longer rely on old legs such as Scholes and Giggsy’s.
If United spend 100m in the summer (which in my opinion they have to) then will they of ‘bought the title’ if come what next May they outshine City?
The race for the 3rd was won by Arsenal, a team who at times looked a million dollars and other times looked a million lira.
Wenger in my opinion is the second best manager to have managed in the Premier League. (Fergie won’t be over taken, ever). Always on a shoe string, the Frenchman gets more deals than my grandmother in Aldi’s. Losing his captain and most influential player in the summer and an 8-2 hammering at the hands of the red side of Manchester was always going to be hard to come back from.
RVP- not to be confused with ex WWE wrestler MVP- was the main reason for their resurrection. When someone can score when they want, it is more than handy.
Spurs’ season imploded. Almost as if ‘Arry had other things on his mind…
Newcastle almost piped them to 4th. Now that would have been something right? Alan Pardew is a man who, last season would not of been seen fit to organise the end of season Journeyman & Co piss up.
All three promoted sides stayed up. QPR tried their best to go down. Joey Barton proving that he is an actual arsehole. Even El Hadj Diouf was perplexed when Barton tried assaulting half of Manchester. Again.
The teams that did get relegated deserved it. Wolves were awful from day one. Blackburn have more problems than you can imagine. Apparently the Venky’s think that they have won promotion to the Championship!
Bolton are kind of unlucky I suppose. There again they spent more than £7m on Elmander once. That is enough for me.
It’s not all over though. Chelsea play in a pretty important final on Saturday. Can they win it?
No they can’t.
